"episode 13.5 of The 404, which was included in Buzz Out Loud's RSS feed[1], approximating a common practice for TV spin-offs to debut in a popular show's time slot." - I've never ever seen this happen [in a TV show]... RT | Talk 15:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Is that an April Fool's Joke? In case not, a recent one was Private Practice/Gray's Anatomy. Heroes: Origins would have started that way, had it not been for the strike. X-Files/Lone Gunmen is another that comes to mind. Most shows have built-in repeat schedules, making debuts in popular time slots easy, then announce "catch this new show on its regularly scheduled night..." But, I'd also count crossover debuts and episodes, like NCIS/JAG, CSI spinoffs, CSI/Without a Trace, Law & Order spinoffs, Las Vegas/Crossing Jordan, Happy Days/Laverne & Shirley/Mork & Mindy/Joanie Loves Chachi/Out of the Blue, etc. Doh! BOL starting, have another link to add later... -- Feld 17:17, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
